Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2013 Formally Launched

The Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2013 was formally launched last November 17, 2012 at SM City Iloilo. Alex Gonzales Soncio of Alta Moda, Dinagyang Foundation Chairman Ben Jimena and Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog graces the event together with some local officials and media Partners.

Mayor Mabilog promised that this will be a world class event, and they are inviting world class judges from international pageants. If we could still remember, last year Bb. Pilipinas-Universe Shamcey Supsup and Former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz was among the judges.

The Ten Lovely Candidates were formally introduced in their sexy dresses and head dress designed by Alex Gonzales Soncio.

Here are the Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2013 Candidates: (As of posting time, profiles are still being gathered)

Candidate No.1:

Name: Eisely Kyle M. Pragados

School: Central Philippine University

Course: Bachelor of Science in Nursing – 4th Year

Age: 20 yrs old

Reason for joining Miss Dinagyang: “I want to be an inspiration to others and be the image of Iloilo City.”

Reason for joining Miss Dinagyang:

I believe that by joining this kind of competition is one way of building self confidence and to help one to overcome stage fright. It is really a great opportunity for me to achieve it. It seemed to me that this might be a great pageant, which would give a chance to be the little ambassadress of goodwill of Iloilo.

I’ve learned that people will forget what I said, people will forget what I did, but people will never forget how I made them feel.

Reason for joining Miss Dinagyang: “I joined this pageant not just to gain experience but also to gain knowledge and friends. In addition, i want to share my talent to everyone and show them what a true Ilongga beauty is.”

Reason for joining Miss Dinagyang:

Joining Miss iloilo Dinagyang is somewhat a “calling” for me. For a long time, I’ve been pressured by a lot of people to join this pageant, however, i kept on resisting. This year, I joined because i already felt that I’m ready. In addition, i also joined this pageant because i only not want to become an ilongga ambassadress of beauty and wit, but also, i wanted to represent the beautiful city of Iloilo.

Well, I believe that by joining this kind of competition I could explore and develop myself into a well-rounded individual. And another reason is that, I want to gain knowledge and most of all a new experience since Miss Dinagyang is a prestigious pageant.

Reason for joining Miss Dinagyang:

It was really my dream to be a beauty queen and I think Miss Iloilo Dinagyang is really a great opportunity for me to achieve it. Others would think joining a beauty pageant is just a way of being popular or just for vanity. But for me it is a way of thanking God of what He has given me. It is to make use the things He had showered me in a good way which is to share my talents and my abilities. Another thing is that I believe I can be a good example to the younger generation today. Being Miss Iloilo Dinagyang comes with the title Ambassadress of Goodwill of Iloilo. I have ideas in mind that I can do for the Ilonggos especially for the youth that would really help them, and i don’t want those to remain as ideas. I want it to be real.

I can be Miss Iloilo Dinagyang because I can represent Iloilo at its finest.

I wanted to try something out of the box in which i have never dream of, also, it was a risk i took with all those people who believed in my potentials in this very aspect.
