I just have a taste of my summer vacation in the closing of summer class since i am teaching during the summer, so i take time to have a late summer getaway to enjoy my short break.
I have already heard some good reviews about this Cabaling Beach Resort situated at Brgy. Espinosa, Jordan Guimaras and i really wanted to visit this place but failed due to busy schedules. Last May 26, 2012, when i visited my parents at Guimaras, i took the time to visit the place.
The entrance fee in the resort is Php50 for adult and Php20 for children. Cabaling is blessed with many corals, alongside, mountains facing west over-looking Panay Island. Onsite are towering stone rocks where bungalow cottages are cradled where you can get the best view of the sea.
The resort is also surrounded by tropical gardens, a private place where you can relax in a comfortable ambiance. And you can discover corals of various shades of colors about 200 meters from the beach line.
Cabaling has a hotel facing seafront and about 50 meters from the shore, the rooms were equipped with unique elegant furnitures along with air conditioning unit, television and hot & cold water. Room rates is at Php 3,000, Php2,000 for non-aircon bungalow cottages and small cottages along the beach is at Php1,000. They also accept services for Weddings, Birthdays, and any special occasions.
There is also a pavilion restaurant that serves both Philippine and international dishes, along side tropical fruits, cocktail drinks and beverages. There are facilities for sun-bathing, beach umbrellas, tanning beds. Pumpboats are also available when requested for island hopping.
On the other side of the resort is an infinity swimming pool facing the sea. Entrance fee for the swimming pool is Php100 for adult and Php50 for children.
What i like most is the sunset view in this place, i can’t take myself taking pictures of the sunset, and i like the view of the bridge also along the shore line.
If you want to have a relaxing vacation, and a comfortable stay, experience the solemn ambiance of silent water, visit Cabaling Beach Resort.
How to get there?
From the Jordan wharf, take a jeepney bounded to San Miguel. From San Miguel, you can take a single motorcycle at Php80 going to Sitio Cabaling. The road is kinda rocky although there are also portion of the road which is concrete and asphalt, but mostly rocky. You can also arrange a multicab rental if you are in a group, but i guess the multicab will take a hard time especially on hilly portions.
If you want to have a direct trip from Iloilo City, you can arrange a pumpboat rental at Ortiz wharf direct to the resort.
