The Philippine Society of Information Technology Students-Western Visayas (PSITS-WV) will hold its 13th Regional IT Congress, with the theme “The Challenge of Innovation”, on February 17, 2012 (Friday) at the Paon Beach Club, Estancia, Iloilo.
For the Information of everybody, PSITS-WV is an Organization of all I.T Students in Western Visayas.
It is the aims to promote unity among IT students in the region. IT activities, such as this, are conducted to enrich the knowledge, skills, and talents of the students in their chosen field of expertise or profession. Every year a Regional Congress were held to update students with the latest trends in I.T. and there are contests held to discover the students’ talent in their field of specialization.
For interested participants, The registration details are as follows:
- Php 650 per student for affiliated schools
- Php 700 per student for non-affiliated schools
- Free 1 faculty for every 15 students
Fee is inclusive of the following: AM & PM Snacks, Lunch & PSITS Conference Bag

Note: 1. All payment should be done online via BPI. Onsite registration/payment will not be accepted.
2. Only the first 1000 registrants will be accommodated.
3. Deadline of online payment will be on February 10, 2012.

There will be an inter-school IT competitions during the convention which includes:
- Quiz Bowl (2 students per team; one team allowed per school)
- Digital Art (One participant per school)
- Web Page Design (One participant per school)
Participants should provide their own laptop installed with software of their preference. They can also bring their own USB broadband connection if they need it.
